Yes Oui CAN - On the road to impact

Across many rural areas in West Africa, we’ve witnessed a simple truth: clean water is still out of reach. Not out of neglect, but because the infrastructure simply isn’t there. In these communities, one in three people still lacks access to safe drinking water, and women and children often walk several kilometers every day just to bring back a few litres. Without reliable water, everything becomes harder — from health and education to economic opportunity.

Building a well and a water tower is about far more than providing water. It means girls can stay in school instead of spending hours walking, families face fewer waterborne diseases, and children benefit from better nutrition. It restores time, dignity, and opportunity. With your support, we can make a lasting difference for over 2,000 people along our route.

Our mission is simple: to use our Yes Oui CAN 2025 road trip as a way to create meaningful impact in every community we cross. Throughout this journey, we aim to fund two essential water infrastructures — a well in Senegal and a water tower in another country along our route — to bring long-lasting access to clean water in rural areas where the need remains urgent. To ensure lasting impact and reliability, we’ve partnered with What Water, a philanthropic initiative that combines art, civic engagement and international solidarity to expand access to safe drinking water across Africa. Their goal: to provide clean water and sustainable infrastructure to 8 million people by 2030.

Sacko CAMARA & the Yes Oui CAN initiative

Sacko is an actor, comedian, and content creator known for his socially engaged projects and his dedication to showing a different, more authentic vision of Africa. With Yes Oui CAN 2025, he turns a road trip across West Africa during the Africa Cup of Nations into a solidarity-driven mission: building a well and a water tower to improve long-term access to clean water in rural communities that need it most. The goal is simple — to travel, connect, share… and leave something meaningful behind.

Our partner 💧 : What Water

To bring these projects to life, we’ve partnered with What Water, a humanitarian organization founded in 2021 in Luxembourg. Their mission is to expand access to clean drinking water across Africa by combining solidarity, art, and civic engagement. Their ambition is clear: provide safe water to 8 million people by 2030.

By joining forces, we’re turning this road trip into a project with real, lasting impact — serving over 2,000 people today, and many more in the years to come.

The €37,450 raised will support all the solidarity actions carried out as part of Yes Oui CAN 2025. Our main goal is to build two lasting water infrastructures — a well in Senegal and a water tower — while also supporting local initiatives and community needs identified along our route.

This budget includes:

• €10,000 for the well in Senegal, covering studies, equipment, labor, and on-the-ground logistics.

• €22,000 for the construction of the water tower, a global estimate that includes technical and operational costs in a remote rural area.

• €3,000 dedicated to solidarity actions throughout the journey (donations, support to local organizations, and punctual assistance to families and community groups we meet).

• €2,450 in platform fees (7%).
