Reinventing digital education for children

"Today let's create the talents of tomorrow's Africa"

Baby Lab and Madeleo both work on training. One is specialized in the training of children and the other in adult education. Initiated by the Baby Lab's active community, the Kid Lab is a science and technology education school for children aged 8 to 15. Through a network of citizens trained in digital mediation on the Madeleo platform, the campaign "Reinvent the edu- cation of children by digital" consists in acquiring pedagogical kits for the supervision of a thousand children in Côte d ' Ivory to computer code, electronics and robotics in the next two years.

Where and when ?

Baby Lab is located in the municipality of Abobo in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. The KID LAB program for 1000 children will begin in May 2017 for a duration of 2 years. Pauline Boutroy opens Madeleo with Obin Guiako in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire at first. The objective is to be able to act in Africa with Africans in the African context and to obtain the certifications of training center in local.

Africa's challenge is to be able to absorb its exponential growth by offering its population employment. The digital is one of the levers that we use to answer them. Today every African born is a native entrepreneur, intuitive and solution and tomorrow must be able to create his own employability to answer concrete problems on his territory. By 2017, low-income countries will need twice as many teachers by 2030 and in 2025 will have 6 million Internet users. To be at the forefront, we train the skills of today's society and that of tomorrow through technological tools (Digital Platform).

The project of the fundraising campaign "Reinvent the edu- cation of children by digital" was born of the meeting between Fab Lab Baby Lab represented by Obin Guiako, African talent and Pauline Boutroy de MADELEO, a wise networker. We are a multiple, complementary and international team. Obin and Pauline are two entrepreneurs engaged respectively in Côte d'Ivoire and France.

From a winegrower's family in Champagne, Pauline BOUTROY invested in international development and carried out international trade studies and specialized in Latin America. She takes the International Business Direction of a SME in Telecom in Côte d'Ivoire after having undertaken in wine. Twelve years in information systems, she launched the Madeleo start up for the training of project promoters through online courses.

A computer scientist by training, Guiako OBIN is Co Co-founder of Fab Lab Ivoirien, Baby Lab. He is a Young Leader of the BSF Campus program of Libraries Without Borders, whose aim is to invent the libraries of tomorrow in Francophone African countries. Guiako, the winner of several awards, is Ambassador representing Côte d'Ivoire at the Next Einstein Forum to promote African scientific and technological innovation on the international stage with the conviction that the next Einstein is an African.

At 20 000 €: 1 person hired full time + 10 additional computers will be purchased

A 25 000 €: 2 people hired full time + 10 computers will be purchased

A 35 000 €: 5 people hired full time + 10 additional computers will be purchased + 1 local radio in connection with the muses radio of Paris will be created to give the floor to the children and all those who converge in the Fab Lab in order to Know what's going on

To 50 000 €: 5 people hired full time + 1 local radio in connection with the radio of the muses of Paris will be created to give the floor to the children and all those who converge in the Fab Lab to make known what is' There + trainings on radio professions can be given + Renovation of the Fab Lab area to accommodate all the children and adults in adapted and equipped spaces

A 75 000 €: 5 people hired full time + 1 local radio in connection with the radio of the muses of Paris will be created to give the floor to the children and all those who converge in the Fab Lab to make known what is' + Training sessions on radio professions will be given + Renovation of the Fab Lab area to accommodate all children and adults in adapted and adapted spaces + Madeleo will accompany the whole process of accompanying the porters Of projects resulting from this space of co creation and innovation.
